ActionCheck e-mail status can be implemented after using the Send e-mail action. This allows you to implement different chains for customers depending on their reaction to the e-mail.
Possible e-mail statuses:
Undelivered;
Delivered, not read;
Read, no transition;
Read, transition occurred.
Create the Check e-mail status action;
Create the required number of child actions;
Edit the Check e-mail status action and specify criterion for each option. The criterion is the customer's reaction to the e-mail.
Example of implementing the Check e-mail status action.
Send an e-mail, wait 3 days. Then check the e-mail status:
If the e-mail was read and the link was clicked, accrue bonuses to the customer.
If the e-mail was delivered but was not read, send SMS to the customer.
If the e-mail was not delivered, send it again.
To set up this branching you need to add three child actions to the Check e-mail status:
Accrue bonuses;
Send SMS;
Send e-mail.
Then edit the Check e-mail status action and specify criterion for each option:
