Date has come

PreviousCustomer registrationNextDate come for client

Last updated 1 year ago

The Date has come trigger allows you to launch a campaign on a specified date.

Note that you can set a time for the trigger to launch in the Launch at … hours field. If you do not do this, the trigger will be launched on the specified date at 00:00 (the time specified in Settings --> General Settings --> Contact Information --> Time Zone).

If the first action in the campaign is to send an SMS/push notification, the messages will be delivered later (at the time specified in Settings --> General Settings --> SMS --> SMS Delivery Time Interval).

Sometimes you may need to re-use campaigns that start with the Due date trigger. For example, last month you ran a campaign on the 2nd day of the month, and you ran a campaign on the 1st day of the same month to notify about the campaign. A couple of months later, you want to run a similar campaign again and want to use the campaign, you created earlier, to notify customers by changing the start date in the trigger and the text of the campaign message.

In this case, the value of the Interval between re-entries should be less than the time elapsed since the last launch of the campaign. Otherwise, customers will not get into the campaign when it will be re-used because the Platform will consider that customers have already been in the campaign before and they should be excluded from the current one.
