E-mail mailings

а можно мне чуть больше чем 1 баночку?The E-mail mailings module allows you to send emails to a group of customers from a specified segment.

Parameters of e-mail mailings

Preparing an e-mail mailing consists of the following steps:

  1. Setting up A/B testing in the mailing if necessary.

  2. Filling in the message parameters. In the case of A/B testing, you need to fill in several message options.

  3. Filling out the mailing settings.

Message parameters

Mailing parameters block:

Specify sender’s name and sender’s e-mail address

Specify e-mail address for replies (reply-to) if required. To do this, click the link and enter address in the text field.

Fill out the subject field and text of the e-mail. You can use e-mail templates. Formatting is available in the text of the email.

You can attach files to the e-mail.

You can add a UTM tag to track online advertising campaigns. If UTM tag is set, it will be added to all e-mail links.

After filling out the message parameters, you can send a test message. To do this, click Test:

To send the message, specify e-mail address and click Send:

Please note, when you specify your e-mail address for the test message, the Platform generates an e-mail for a special test customer, whose e-mail is test@test.com.

This is done due to the fact that in the general case the Platform’s user may not have a customer profile in the database. So users are often surprised when they see test@test.com instead of their e-mail on the unsubscribe page.

Mailing settings

All types of mailings have the same set of settings. Detailed mailings settings are described here.

E-mail template

You can use a ready-made e-mail template. To do this, click on the arrow:

  10. Align text left/right, center or width.

You can see how the e-mail will look like for a particular customer. To do this, enter the customer's full name/telephone number/e-mail address/local identifier (local_id) in the Customer field. The search in the Customer field is case-sensitive. The customer's first and last name must be capitalized.
